How can We help you?

Dr. Flores Valdivia is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon with a mission to offer women and men in the region access to cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the highest quality.

We understand that undergoing any surgical procedure is a big decision and we want to make sure that we are paying attention to your questions, concerns and wishes. We do everything we can to make you comfortable before, during, and after your procedure.

All the procedures we carry out are carried out following the strictest quality and safety standards for the patient, with the greatest care and detail, with the aim of satisfying the needs of each patient who places their trust in our hands.

Plastic surgery is not painful because it is performed under local or general anesthesia. However, like any operation, plastic surgery may cause mild to moderate discomfort after treatment.

Each person has a different pain threshold, so the level of discomfort can vary from one patient to another. We provide medication to relieve post-surgery discomfort.

Once the procedure is done, it is possible to observe the results immediately, for greater definition you must wait 3 to 6 months when the inflammation has subsided. It is important to follow a pre-established diet and exercise to improve the results of the procedure.

The best candidates for plastic surgery are people who are in good physical and mental health and have a realistic expectation of the result. Dr. Flores Valdivia’s team prefers to deal with patients who are confident and have legitimate reasons for cosmetic surgery.

A consultation appointment is the best way to determine your candidacy for a specific procedure you have in mind.

Reconstructive surgery focuses on correcting physical deformities caused by injury or illness. It is designed to restore both function and appearance. Examples of reconstructive procedures are breast reconstruction and hand surgery.

Cosmetic surgery, on the other hand, is performed to enhance the beauty of an already healthy and fully functional body part. Some of the more common cosmetic procedures include breast augmentation, liposuction and facelift.

To become a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon usually requires fifteen years of education and training beyond high school. This is broken down into four years of Undergraduate Study, four years of Medical School, five years of residency in General Surgery, and two years of fellowship in Plastic Surgery.
